International Affairs
The department provides high-level administrative support by drafting speeches and briefs for senior leadership. It ensures compliance with international treaties and manages stakeholders through bilateral and multilateral engagements. Additionally, the department represents the Ministry at local, regional and international conferences. It also maintains internal accountability by providing regular progress reports to the Permanent Secretary.
Advocacy and Public Relations
The department serves as the Ministry’s primary communications and public relations arm, coordinating publicity strategies and social media campaigns to enhance the organization's public image. It monitors media coverage and public sentiment regarding departmental projects while managing the internal and external dissemination of information. Additionally, the department creates promotional materials across print and digital platforms, collaborates with the ICT team on website operations, and drafts the Client Service Charter. Finally, it actively represents the Ministry through the organization of exhibitions and community outreach programs to foster stronger public engagement.
Protocol
The department is responsible for the end-to-end management of official travel and diplomatic protocol, specifically coordinating the implementation of detailed itineraries and comprehensive travel arrangements. This includes the administrative task of compiling delegation lists and facilitating the necessary cabinet authorities to ensure all missions are formally sanctioned. Additionally, the department conducts specialized research on traditions and customs to ensure that all engagements are culturally appropriate and align with established protocols.
